Abstract Submission
The CTAO Symposium at IAU 2027 offers a premier platform to present your research to a global astronomical community. As we transition from the construction phase toward early operations, this symposium is highly relevant for researchers working on theoretical models, data analysis frameworks, and synergistic observations related to Very-High-Energy (VHE) gamma-ray astronomy.
We strongly encourage abstract submissions (Talks and Posters) focusing on the following core scientific themes:
-
Cosmic Particle Accelerators: Pulsars, pulsar wind nebulae, supernova remnants, and the origins of cosmic rays.
-
The Transient and Variable Sky: Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), active galactic nuclei (AGN) flares, fast radio bursts (FRBs), and tidal disruption events.
-
Multi-Messenger Synergies: Joint observational strategies and theoretical links with gravitational waves, high-energy neutrinos, and multi-wavelength astronomy.
-
Fundamental Physics & Dark Matter: Indirect searches for dark matter, tests of Lorentz invariance violation, and axion-like particles.
-
CTAO Capabilities & Early Science: Instrument performance, analysis pipelines, early science targets, and the Observatory's Key Science Projects.
